fed up

Would you ever drop out of school to pursue your rapping career?

I’d never drop out of school for that especially since I’m so close to being done. I’ve always wanted to be a dentist because I like serving the community and giving back, and I feel like it’s the perfect job to express those things. It’s an art and a service put together.

Bazanji is an American hip hop artist of Kurdish descent. Although he was born in the UK, he was raised in North Carolina and later moved to Miami, Florida. Bazanji's music began to flourish while pursing a degree in dentistry, leaving him with difficult decisions to make regarding his future career. After graduating, he decided to pursue music full-time and has been independently validating his path into the music industry with over 200 million streams. Before discovering hip-hop, Bazanji experienced a rich taste of music as a drummer in multiple rock bands.

Bazanji remains an independent artist.

Jerkin’ Back ‘n’ Forth

I know I let you tell me what to do
You were confident you knew best
Now things aren't working like you want them to
Your confidence is what I detest

There is a thought that keeps me thinking
Like a stone inside my shoe
It is a vision recurring
A dirty window I can see through

You think it's funny
But what I say is true
The reason that I live like this
Is all because of you

You got me lookin' up high
You got me searchin' down low
You got me I know you know
You got me jerkin' back 'n' forth

just another day

(There's life underground)
I feel it all around
I feel it in my bones

It's just another day
Where people cling to light
To drive away the fear
That comes with every night

It's just another day.... It's just another day
It's just another day.... It's just another day....
It's just another day when people wake from dreams
The voices in their ears that will not go away

I had a dream last night:
The world was set on fire
And everywhere I ran
There wasn't any water

Legal Tender

We're in the basement, learning to print
All of it's hot!
10-20-30 million ready to be spent
We're stackin' 'em against the wall
Those gangster presidents

Livin' simple and trying to get by
But honey, prices have shot through the sky
So I fixed up the basement
With what I was a-workin' with
Stocked it full of jelly jars
And heavy equipment
We're in the basement...

10-20-30 million dollars
Ready to be spent

Walk into the bank, try to pass that trash
Teller sees and says "Uh-huh that's fresh as grass"
See the street pass under your feet
In time to buy the latest model getaway Jeep

So I fixed up the basement
With what I was a-workin' with
Stocked it full of jelly jars
And heavy equipment
We're in the basement

So I fixed up the basement
With what I was a-workin' with
Stocked it full of jelly jars
And heavy equipment
We're in the basement,
Learning to print
All of it's hot
All counterfeit
